I am Tugba Yilmaz, I was born in 1983 in Germany. I graduated from Sivas Cumhuriyet University-Business Administration Department in 2002. My interest in traditional arts started in 2009. In 2009, I started taking illumination lessons in Ankara Buyuksehir Municipality-Belmek. In 2014, I participated in the Mixed Islamic Arts Exhibition held in Ankara Chamber of Commerce with 4 different works. After this education, which continued until 2014, I took private lessons at Muzehhibe Nihan Gurakan workshop for 2 years. Afterwards, I took illumination and miniature lessons between 2016 and 2020 under the Ministry of Culture. As of January 2020, I continue my artistic activities in London. I give private lessons in Miniature and Illumination. I also do various consultancy on Islamic and Turkish traditional arts.
